A few words about the day

Sofía's family flew in from Guadalajara. David's grandparents drove up from Brooklyn. Neither side spoke the other's language, and by the end of the night it didn't matter at all.

The ceremony blended a lazo and a chuppah The reception blended a mariachi and a klezmer band, who ended up playing together during the last hour. We've never seen a dance floor quite like it.
